I Need You

The world spins around me,
The faster it goes the further I fall,
I'm losing sight of everything,
It's all a blur, I need to see,

I'm unconsiously losing faith,
I need to know what to do, where to go,
How to see in the world that is so black, so gray,
I need color, I need...what I need is you,

Your warm breath upon my face,
Your eyes looking into mine,
I need to feel your touch,
I need to hear; hear "I love you",

Those three sweet words will guide me,
Guide me through the dark,
Leading me back to this stand-still world,
The still world when i'm in your arms,

Help me find the way to your heart.
Yet another poem written for my "first love". Or so I thought at the time. I put this under Teen or Young Romance because I was in High School when I wrote it. I, like all teenagers, was a ball of horomones and emotion, and a lot of the poems, songs and stories from High School reflect this. Now, I think I'm a little more mellow. HAHAHAHAHA. Anyone that knows me well can tell you that's a LIE. I'm wound up. Usually. I have my days, as do we all.
